Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor born the 31st of January 1974. She's best known for her role as Bo from the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk's parents are Peter Silk, an academic as well as Peter Silk, who was an actor and director. He was also a playwright, educator and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of watching and attending play rehearsals. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials while she was a young child. She received a Bachelor's of Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two productions in the early days: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto Canada in the month of November of 1999 in order to pursue her acting. Then she moved in Los Angeles California during the following decade. Seth Cooperman was her future spouse when she first met him in 2007 during an acting workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. In 2009, they were wed in civil ceremonies in the month of December. The couple renewed their vows on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton, after the woman was converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had a baby boy, her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second child was born May 13, in 2016. Silk was nominated in 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character from the succubus. Silk became pregnant during production of the third season finale episode. The news was announced to the fans during a Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that production was underway for Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed that production had begun for the Fourth season. CNN's Cable News Network named her role as Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite television Couples. E! named them the Top Television Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's success has led to a large online audience on social networks.
