Sometimes, a glamorous career conceals some of the saddest stories. Lolo has achieved her present place of prominence after years of hard work and perseverance. A single mother with five children, Jones had a difficult and impoverished childhood. Her mother and she lived at a basement church and was constantly moving around. Brandt was born in Auckland New Zealand, from Cape Town South Africa in the latter part of her adolescence. Brandt was discovered by casting directors in her home town and was cast in the role of Naevia in the Starz smash Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. In collaboration with the producers Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi she captivated audiences through her performances and became an one of the series' biggest actors. She was on the show's hit Netflix series Lucifer that had a six years run as the fan most loved Vertigo/DC comic book character Mazikeen.
