Gale won a modelling competition in Perth when she was just 18. Gale was modeling for many years before she became known in 1999, when Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) hired her for commercials. She continued to be employed for the company up to 2006. In 2003 in 2003, The Australian Tourist Commission hired Gale to represent Australia in Italy.
